LORHN provides Health Literacy Education across our rural communities, using award-winning curricula supported by the Florida Department of Education, and available through the Florida Literacy Coalition. The curriculum (3 to 4 sessions) is used throughout the U.S., written at reading levels suitable for beginning and intermediate literacy learners. Session Topics include:

“Your Health Matters” Health Literacy Education Workshops are provided to groups of 12-15 participants, with a goal of ‘Graduation’. The workshops are interactive and participative, with in-person ‘conversations, interactive ‘coaching’, role-playing, and vignettes. Complete our interest form to let us know your availability and contact information to send you an invitation for an upcoming workshop. If you have a group of 8-12 individuals we will work you with you to coordinate a private workshop series as well.
